Shreenabh becomes a writer

One fine day when I was sleeping, I felt something under my hand. I woke up to see a bundle of papers. Neatly written in pen were some stories. Swacchta Abhiyaan, Return Home, Namami Ganga....I could not stop myself from turning pages. There were eight stories...just when I was about to finish reading them, my 11 year old son Shreenabh came from behind and said, 'Mumma, I have decided to call my book-Thank You, Modiji'...and so the journey began!!!

Competition as I see from my son's eyes...

Shreenabh...3 and a 1/2 years old...2007...class KG...place Bareilly....learnt to read newspaper both Hindi and English....got a painting signed by Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Sir....was a face in the newspaper himself!!!

Shreenabh...5 and a 1/2 years old....2009...class I...place Nagpur...appeared for his first competitive exams...OMR sheets entered his life....Maths Olympiad, Science Olympiad, English Olympiad...won three golds...was again clicked by the newspaper...!!! A new journey of comic books started with Magic Pot, Children's Magazine, Champak!!!

Shreenabh ...6 and 1/2 years old...2010...class II...journey of golds in Olympiads continued with a new addition...Cyber Olympiad...interschool competitions , interschool quizzes started...more golds more news!!!First Encyclopedia was added to various picture books...

Shreenabh...7 and 1/2 years old...2011...class III...Olympiads, interschool events...continued...golds added...first science project made...applauded...stood first...curiosity rised...Tell Me Why books were in...religious beliefs grew...shlokas made their way into his heart...

Shreenabh...8 and 1/2 years old...2012...class IV...olympiads became usual, new exams added...Australian University acknowledged him...science and maths became favourites...new books like around the world in 80 days and a journey to the centre of the earth...came in...dictionary started being used...thesaurus was needed ...maths wizard competition was won!!!

Shreenabh...9 and 1/2 years old...2013...class V...the journey of the golds continued...level of mathematics exams grew...excelled in AMTI a very good maths exam...olympiads were still continuing...ranks improving internationally...Enid Blyton...Carolyn Keene...along with Shrimad Bhagwad Maha Purana and Ramayana were read...science project acclaimed on district level...new concepts developed...dreams for junior scientist exam were woven...

Shreenabh ...10 and 1/2 years old...2014...class VI...Dr.Homi Bhabha Junior Scientist Exam theory exam qualified...Life stories of Mahatma Gandhi , Kalpana Chawla, MahendraSingh Dhoni Read, Rocket modelling learnt, robotics concepts developed, interest in aircrafts rose, AMTI exam cracked with flying colors...golds in all olympiads  again...chemistry...physics...biology...differece and basics understood and developed....journey still continues....

...he is not the only one...competition is growing...the only difference that I see is...

birthday...3/11/2110....thats true.......FUTURE!!!!

With my schedule of running round the clock I rarely get time to see television...n with the newly launched channel FOOD FOOD... it takes away the time I get to watch TV sometimes...

my kid of 7 yrs is glued to the television in his free time n generally I have seen him watch NINJA HATTODI...N...DORAEMON...he even sings the jingle...

yesterday I reached home early n wanted to spend some quality time with my kiddo..he was looking intently at the TV n when he saw me his eyes flickered, his lips gave a smile...he held my hand and happily said...Mummy dekho Doraemon apne gadgets se kya badhiya kaam kar raha hai...main bhi aisa gadget banaunga!!!!!

I started watching with him n to my surprise it was great fun...it reminded me of the novel "Time Machine" I had read some 15 years ago.......

cartoons teach!!!!!!!

but when u sit , get involved n make ur child see thru them!!!!!!

ek raaste per kuch sochte hue jab guzri main,
ek patta apni tehni se tutkar aaya....
bola, roz dekhta hun main apko yahan se jaate,
kabhi gumsum kabhi apne aap mein sharmate.....
bahut ji chaha aapse baat kar lun,
kuch apni keh dun kuch aapki sun lun........
main tab apne khayalon mein gum thi,
zindagi ki ajeeb udhed bun mein thi......
wo kab aaya, kab gaya, kya keh gaya,
shayad wahin raaste per kahin reh gaya.........
aaj jab kuch pal mile aur saans mein saans aayi,
us masoom se pyare se patte ki fir yaad aayi......
fir usi raah per chali kai baar dhoondha par,
us jaise bahut dikhe, wo na mila magar.........

zindagi sabhi ki aisi ho gayi hai,
anmani baton mein kahin kho gayi hai......

Wake up guys!!!!!!!! dont let moments pass by like the leaf!!!!!

love ur loved ones and make them love u.......

A happy go lucky man...38 years....wife and two kids.....working in Ranchi with a Jindal firm....played Holi at home in Nagpur.....finished some incomplete tasks....left many to be completed in next visit.....reached workplace.....went out to dinner in a car....n.....never came back!!!!!

News came immediately to his place.....wife rushed to Ranchi via a flight to Delhi...got late for the flight to Ranchi....but "koi to hai".....flight stopped for 20 min.....boarded.....reached Ranchi Airport...."koi to hai"....a Chartered Plane with the man waiting for her.....Salute!!!!....the most difficult time .....made easy by someone who understands!!!!!

Thanks Mr.Jindal for being Human!!!!!

hum kehte rahe ki hum hain yahin...

per na jaane wo samjhe ya nahin...

apni sacchai ka dete rahe wasta ...

per wo dekhte rahe aur kahin....

kaise batate unhe wo ghum ki baat...

khushi bhi jinhe bardasht nahin...

dastaan lambi thi aur batana zaroori...

chand lamhe bhi hume mile nahin...

aaj dil karta hai wapas ho len...

khayal aata hai ..fir milenge ya nahin....

.............life is lost in assumptions and presumptions.....lets give life a chance to prove what we think is not right always...

Lets take risks with everything ....emotions, practical situations ....probably life may give answers which we didnt even dream of...

Speak up .....unfolding mysteries is not an easy task!!!!!!!!

IS THE NUMBER 26 "GENERATION GAP"?

After 26 years since I was born, a small cry brightened my slowly dimming household...and my Parents' ecstatic voices filled the aura with happiness....a sweet little kiddo was in my arms and I started waiting for him to call me "ma"..

I thought of all the luxuries I would bestow on my child of which I dreamt in my childhood...I started thinking of the school my little champ would be enrolled...where would he go for his computer lessons...for his Piano or Guitar classes....

As soon as I saw the sweet face I knew that my son would indeed become an Engineer like his mamma and papa...and bring home a lovely wife who would fill our life with cheer....

IS THE NUMBER 26...the years I had lived...dreaming about the next...already a beautifully wrapped luggage for my newborn?

....is the hope of realization of my dreams ...the expectations dashed against the threshold of an emerging life ......the GENERATION GAP?????????
